Emma McIntosh

Emma McIntosh is an artist and art historian working out of the Seattle, Washington region.

She has spent many years performing on stage in diverse roles, such as Mercutio in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and Ethel Tofflemeier in The Music Man.

She has created new works for the stage including an award winning play about Beatlemania titled The Great Invasion.

In 2017 she won 1st place the Musical Theater category of the Puget Sound NATS chapter student auditions. In 2016 she placed 2nd in both Musical Theater and Classical categories of the Puget Sound NATS chapter student auditions and 3rd and 4th respectively in the NATS Northwest Regional auditions.

She is a graduate of the University of Washington and received her master’s degree in art history from the School of Art + Art History + Design in 2019, as well as her bachelor's degree in art history from the SoA+AH+D in 2018. She has made the Dean's List thrice: in Fall of 2016, in Spring of 2017, and in Fall 2017. She is also minored in music with a focus in ethnomusicology. She received the honor of graduating Phi Beta Kappa for outstanding excellence in academics as well as graduating magna cum laude.
